In 2017 Huntington Local School District set out to replace older, less efficient mechanical equipment and controls throughout its campus, starting with an aging HVAC system that was costing the district in both energy and upkeep.
What we did
MCS entered at the program of requirements, before design, and represented the district through a Construction Manager at Risk delivery. The school stayed in session throughout the work, with the heavier phases scheduled into summer.

Campus-wide replacement
After an inspection of the facilities, the district moved forward with a plan to replace mechanical equipment and controls across the campus, exchanging the older HVAC system for an updated, more energy efficient and cost efficient unit. The upgrades and renovations made to the Huntington campus included:
