Project Details:
The Margaretta Local School District serves approximately 1 ,200 students in grades PK-12. It is comprised of two main buildings within the district. Margaretta Elementary School houses students in preschool through 5th grade and Margaretta Middle/High School houses students in 6th grade through 12th grade. The Margaretta Local School District is located in scenic northwestern Ohio along the shores of Lake Erie and stretches over two counties (Erie County & Sandusky County). The district is a hub of several villages and townships that combine to make Margaretta Local School District.
The district’s new PK-12 construction project will cost approximately $49.4 million. This total includes the cost of construction for the new facility as well as the cost for the partial abatement and demolition of Margaretta High School/Middle School and the partial abatement and demolition of Margaretta Elementary. Currently the district is planning to pause the project after the completion of construction documents because of issues with funding.
