Logan Elm
PK-12 School

Location: Circleville, Ohio
Type: New Construction

Project Details:

Logan Elm Local School District has a current enrollment of 1,678. The District's plan is to consolidate all 1,678 students into one centralized campus. The new PK-12 facility is planned to be approx. 215,321 sq. ft. in size. Other than the new facility, the district will also have five buildings that will be demolished as part of the project. These five buildings will not be removed until the new facility is completed and students/faculty have moved in.

The current Logan Elm District is comprised of three elementary schools; Laurelville Elementary (PK-4), Pickaway Elementary (K-4), & Washington Elementary (K-4); one intermediate school; Salt Creek Intermediate School; one middle school; McDowell Middle School; and one high school; Logan Elm High School. McDowell Middle School & Logan Elm High School are located at the Tarlton Road campus, with the other schools spread throughout the district.

The District had a bond issue pass in November of 2018 for funding of a new PK-12 school. The next summer, in July of 2019, the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) notified districts who passed bond issues in November of 2018 that funding had been approved. Currently the project is in the design phase, with ground breaking anticipated to begin in the spring of 2021.
