In early 2016, the Northridge Local School District began exploring delivery & management options for the upcoming construction project. In May of 2019, the bond levy passed for the Northridge Local School District and shortly after the design phase began.
Northridge Local School District made renovations to the current high school & middle school, and also built a new PK-5 elementary school as part of the project.
The new PK-5 building is 80,500 sq. ft. in size and include 3 pre-school classrooms. The building will also be equipped with 4 classrooms per grade level (Kindergarten-5th Grade). Some other features of the new building include flexible space for special education/gifted services & spaces for art and music, including a new media center.
The District’s PK-5 School consolidated students from the old Northridge Primary School (K-3) & Northridge Intermediate School (4-5) into one location. The new location is southeast of the Northridge High School at the same Johnstown-Utica Rd. campus.

The Northridge Local School District is currently in the construction phase of their construction & renovation project. Aside from the PK-5 facility, the district will also be making changes and renovations to other buildings in the district. As part of the project, Northridge Local School District will be making renovations to the current high school & middle school.
