Teays Valley approved the construction of a new athletics field house. The details of the building include:

1. Approx. 40,000 sq. ft. of building space with the outside structure being pre-fab metal. The District also wants the front to include pre-fab metal & partial brick or partial concrete masonry units.
2. Three full size high school basketball courts adjacent to each other, with the option for volleyball lines on each court (rubberized flooring).
3. Men's & Women's locker rooms, including approx. 40+ full height lockers, three sinks & two toilets in each.
4. Training room approx. 700 sq. ft. with training tables.
5. Physical training room approx. 1,500 sq. ft. with equipment added later by occupant (more clinic use).
6. Public restrooms sized per building occupancy code.
7. Office space approx. 1,000 sq. ft. for future use.
